"The Shoes You'll Forget You Have On"

Recently, I needed to replace a pair of boots that I wear to work. I was wearing rubber soled boots from the UK but wanted to get boots that could fit two specific wants: (1) Look like Dress Boot -and- (2) Be Comfortable. My job has me doing all kinds of different things in the city. Leading business presentations, working in the office behind a desk, and running around the city to complete specific tasks. So having comfortable dress boots was essential to me. Amberjacks was the only brand that filled both requirements. Their shoes are stylish and comfortable.

In my eyes, the mark of a good comfortable shoe is 'you forget you're wearing them'. After wearing Amberjacks for a week, I could feel the difference the moment I slipped on my "Weekday Company" Boot. When I was driving and had my heel down, I could feel how uncomfortable it was, my heel pushing into the wooden heel of the shoe didn't feel good. When I wear my Amberjacks, there's no pressure or discomfort just... nothing. I thought the ads were exaggerating about "stealth comfort" but they weren't! I'm planning on buying a black pair so I alternate days with my brown boots.

One bit of advice I can give to new shoe users is that there's a break in period for the shoe. Sometimes when I walked, it would pinch that area between my ankle and my toes on the top of the boot but once that goes the shoes are super comfortable and feel like a second skin to me. As long as these shoes hold up for a long time... they may be the only shoes i'll ever buy.

Comfortable!

These are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever owned. I already loved the shoes and now the boots are just as stylish and comfortable! I’ll be adding the black pair to my wardrobe. They are a great looking boot and can be wore with jeans to dress up the look.
