After years working with big companies like Cole Haan, Allen Edmonds, and Adidas, we got frustrated by how bleak the landscape of dress shoes has become. Work is changing, technology is advancing, yet dress shoes are stuck in the past. We knew we wanted to create something new.
So , we tossed the complicated supply chains full of shortcuts and compromises, and partnered with one of the best tanneries in the world. Then, we went to the lab to create entirely new materials for soles that are way more comfortable than they have any right to be. We put that leather and science fiction into the hands of craftsmen in Portugal and here we are, with shoes whose style makes them obviously good, and whose undercover comfort makes them secretly great.

We source our leather from an ISO-certified sustainable tannery, manufacture our shoes in a fair wage factory, and use plastic-free packaging. Not to mention, we use 100% carbon neutral shipping. We don’t do this because we have to, or because we wanted a talking point, but because it’s the right thing to do. We’re pretty sure you agree.
