Style and Comfort

I ordered the toe cap in Honey. Love the way they look and they are very comfortable. I wore them for the first time to a wedding for 8 hours. No break in was needed. I had just previously ordered a pair from Cole Haan and returned them because they were too tight in the toe box. All of current dress shoes are size 11 1/2. The 11 1/2 from Amberjack fit perfectly. I love them!

Good points and bad points

I sold shoes for over 20 years so I can be very picky. The good points are that the quality of the leather is very good, and the shoes are very stylish and fit well. The soles look like they are durable and the heel and arch seem supportive. However, the cushioning inside the shoe leaves a lot to be desired and you don't get a lot of shock absorption from the sole. Many dress shoes today almost feel like sneakers and that is what I was expecting, and therefore I am disappointed. That said, they look great and I will continue to wear them, but I would not be in a hurry to buy another pair.

Your customer service is best in class! I settled on your honey original as I need the width. I’ll see how they work out with my back issues. I’m hopeful you will add other options in the wide sizes

Finally found the shoes for me!

Spend most of my day on the sales floor and on my feet. I’ve tried countless different brands over the year and always found myself dissatisfied. Either with quality , longevity or comfort.
