The Loafer

Great shoes! Are they "the" most comfortable shoes I've every owned? No. I'm a classic 10.5, so that's what I ordered. These feel a little tight and I thought they would stretch. That hasn't happened. Nevertheless, I do like the shoes and I receive compliments every time I wear them!

It took several weeks to receive my first order of 9.5 wide due to not being in stock. I normally would not buy shoes at this cost and hope the higher quality will last. I am very impressed with the design, quality, comfort and feel of this shoe. If the quality and wear holds I will definitely invest in another pair of these modern and comfortable shoes.

Very nice comfortable sole and great color. My only concern was a stitching flaw on the side of the shoe that irritates my foot. Overall love amberjack. Buy all my new shoes from them.

Amberjack has become my go too for elevated footwear. They are more comfortable than any other brand I have tried in the price range and better than some of the more expensive brands like Helm and Taft. Don’t get me wrong… those are great brands and the boots/shoes are premium. They are just not as comfortable as Amberjack! These are genuinely as comfortable as my Nike AF1s

Wow. I always struggle with finding comfortable wide shoes for work. These are the best I’ve found - comfy right out of the box walking all over O’Hare.

My fourth pair of Amberjacks just arrived and I could not love them more. The honey loafers are so comfortable and such a beautiful color. The customer service is tops at Amberjack. I’m a lifetime loyal customer now.

Excellent quality plus comfortable to wear.

I’ve got the loafers in honey and obsidian and (after a short break in period) they are by far the most comfortable loafers I’ve ever worn! The soles are tough like hiking boots and the leather is very high quality and soft and the insole is where the magic happens, they make you feel like you’re wearing your favorite slippers for a stroll to the pool, so fluffy!

They came it was 1000000 degrees in LA but I had been dying to receive them so I tossed em right on with my gym shorts to try. They are beyond comfortable right out of the box . Wore em all day lookin silly in a loafer with gym shorts and socks but hey I love em . Can’t wait for the weather to cool a bit and have places to go in real clothes lol

I needed a comfortable slip on loafer for work this summer. I’ve thoroughly loved my other two pairs of Amberjacks (boot and original). I have complicated feet. Flat and one that had extensive surgery that can make it tough to find a wearable shoe. My Amberjack boots are the most comfortable shoes I own, so I went back to Amberjack for loafers. I’m glad I did. One note, I needed loafers 1/2 size bigger than my boots. So the first pair I ordered I had to exchange for a 1/2 size bigger. Amberjack’s service was responsive, quick, and easy. The new pair fit perfectly and look great. Note that I needed some time to break in the back heal of the loafers as they chaffed if I walked more than a short distance. But they are worth breaking in and get more comfortable the more I wear them. Amberjacks wear well. The insoles, uppers, and soles all last a long time - better than any other shoe I’ve had.

Comfortable out of the box and great looking for the warm seasons. Great fit wearing no socks and, take out insert, works great with thick socks!

They fit true to size and feel comfortable, almost like sneakers. They are not as clunky as some of the leather-outsole dress shoes. It doesn't take long to break them in to start wearing them over long hours at work.

I have the black loafers and now the chestnut loafers. The minute I put them on they fit perfectly. I normally wear a size 9 and I ordered a size 9. There was zero break in period. The workmanship is perfect and leather is fantastic. I will definitely be adding other colors and styles to my collection.

Second pair of amberjacks, I have the Chelsea boot as well. Perfect fit, and so comfortable. I got the midnight suede, can absolutely dress them up or down. Look great in jeans or even a suit.

Surprisingly, the actual shoes turned out better than all the pictures of the loafer. That's why it took me quite a while before finally making the order. Maybe because the blue was a little bit darker, or maybe the toe didn't bend up quite as much. I really don't know but I'm glad I went with it. So don't hesitate anymore. Go for it!

I wore these for the first time over this past weekend! They were really comfortable without socks! I’m looking forward to wearing them again!

These are quality shoes at a reasonable price. Feel good, look good and I hope to get a few years out of them. Very satisfied.

I have a pair of the originals and love them. So when I was looking for a new pair of loafers, I knew I had to check these out. The color is perfect. The fit, true to size. Super comfortable. I was hesitant to buy because I thought they’d be boxy in the toe, but they’re not; I love the design. The first time I wore these, I wore them 8 hours straight. Unlike other loafers and new shoes, these loafers did not give me blisters on the first wear. I didn’t want to take them off because they were that comfortable. Dress them up or dress them down, very versatile.

My wife and I travel… Like, a lot! We probably take 10-12 flights a year, in and out of the country!

In recent years, I have elevated my style quite a bit; as any man turning 30 should do. No longer am I trying to pull chicks in the club with a backwards hat and skinny jeans. Now, we are successful, professional, and out style is elevated. Blazers, businessiness casual, ETC.

POINT OF THE STORY: I have been hunting for a good pair of dress shoes that can handle a lot of walking. And I mean A LOT OF WALKING. Like “Day at Disney” walking. I stumbled across this brand a few months ago, and my wife bought me a pair of these so solve our conundrum: When we travel, Why do we dress so nice and kill our swag with TENNIS SHOES! THERE HAS TO BE A SHOE OUT THERE THAT LOOKS GOOD IN A SUIT, BUT ALSO IS COMFORTABLE.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, look no further. We purchased a few months ago, and I decided to take a chance and make these my ONLY shoes for our recent trip to Spain…

Let me explain how my wife and I travel, in a nutshell: in 10 days in Spain, we walked 103 miles.. YES, you heard that correctly. That is over 10 miles a day. And this is how we travel EVERY TIME.

Guys, I’m here to tell you. I had nothing but these shoes, and they passed the test. 1) They passed the style test. In Spain/London, I didn’t have to make my trench coat look silly by wearing Tennis Shoes. I didn’t have to downgrade my blazer by bastardizing it with Nikes. And 2) They passed the comfort test. After endless miles of walking through cities, streets, alleys, mountains, and forests, my feet felt great.

Now, at one point on the 7th day I had a little pain in the balls of my right foot. But in my “old age”, I have come to learn that I have “Plantar Facism” or something like that. So that day, I just gave myself a massage and a few Advils. But after that, the pain went away and we chugged along for the rest of the trip.

Moral of the story: I am sure some of you guys are looking for a comfy dress shoe. I am sure some of you turned 30 recently and have elevated your style. I am also sure that some of you “elevated” people throw up a little bit when you have to wear tennis shoes with a blazer. “Why can’t I look AMAZING at Disney world, like a successful dad”.

Well, if that is you, then I can voice for this pair of shoes in size12.

ONE NEGATIVE: They run large. I bought a twelve, and it was flopping a little bit on my feel. I should have gotten a 11.5, as these shoes run large. However, I can’t return them after 100+ miles.

I work in academia and the shoes are attractive and dressy enough for daily wear. I pair them with dress slacks and a dress shirt. They are so comfortable that even at the end of the day, my feet are feeling fine. I’ve purchased them in two colors.
