The Hybrid

It’s comfortable and looks good. Feel it’s just a bit pricey. For the price to be justified, it should wear really well. Let’s see.

When I first put them on, they felt a bit tight, but I do have slightly wider feet. After loosening the laces and wearing them for a day, they broke in comfortably. I’ve had eight back surgeries, so I need footwear that offers both softness and strong support. I usually wear out my soles at an angle due to my shifted gait, but these have a very solid heel structure that keeps me aligned. They’re supportive without being overly soft or squishy like some Cole Haans.

In my first day of trying these don’t really feel as comfortable as I expected for the price. The lace area feel too tight. The leather feel stiff as well. Not sure for the price.

I was shocked with how comfortable these shoes were, premium leather with a very soft insole. After a round of golf these are exactly what I needed to wear in the clubhouse!

I bought a pair of Hybrid dress shoes. I’ve been wearing them for 3 days now and I can say I’m pretty impressed! The leather is top quality, soft and until now it has not creased at all (even though I walk quite a bit during the day)! The insole feels very comfortable and my feet don’t ache even after wearing them for more that 12 hrs. I’m pretty happy with my purchase and I totally recommend the brand! I only wish they decided to distribute their products in Europe, so that they can be cheaper (no taxes, custom fees, etc.) and more easily accessible.

Bought the hybrid in 2 different colours and love it. Definitely my favourite (and most stylish) so far (also have the original and Chelsea). I’m usually a 9.5 or 10 and got the 9.5 which works well.

Definitely feel the quality of material but the true test lies in the time they hold up. Comfortable for my wide flat feet normally a size 13 had to go up to 14 for the fit. Will order a 13 on my next pair to test as this pair would be perfect for me if they were a tiny bit shorter. New parking at work is 2 blocks away and a breeze to walk in the hybrid shoes. Thank you for a great product amberjack if they hold ip the test of time I'll be a loyal customer!

Bought my 2nd pair of Amberjacks & this time chose the new Hybrid. And just like the first pair a exact fit out of the box & received more compliments on these semi dressed type shoes I can wear with suites.

I have not worn the shoes yet because of the nasty weather we have currently in Ohio. The shoes look absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to wear them.

This is my third pair of Amberjack shoes...I got a $30 coupon and decided to see what else they had when I stumbled upon this shoe. The color pairs well with jeans or casual pants, and the "sock liner" (or whatever it's called) makes it comfortable for all day wear. I just returned from a trip to Atlanta for my daughter's 40 Under 40 Award and wore them all day. Wore them the next day on the trip back to DC. They're casual and comfortable, stylish and the blue nubuck with the white sole makes them stand out without being too flashy. Now, if they only came a little bit wider...

Excellent comfortable shoe right out of the box. They wear and feel great. Love the sock top liner which eliminates heel rubbing. Well worth the money. I have 5 pairs of amberjacks and I have enjoyed them all but this design is the most comfortable shoe they have created. Will definitely buy another pair.

I did the unthinkable. I bought these shoes. Tried them on for size then put them back in the box to take to a conference. One in which I’ll be standing on my feet for 5-6 hours not to mention all the walking. Well, I can tell you these shoes are amazing! Incredibly comfortable. They look great. ZERO wear lines at the break. I would buy these again 10/10 times.

With the marketing, online reviews, thickness and "sneaker-like" appearance of the shoe's sole, I really thought this was going to be the dress shoe with maximum cushion. I was surprised to find the feel very much like the dress shoes I currently own. Perhaps it's slightly more comfortable. Perhaps I have to have a longer break in period. I wore them running errands around town before taking them on a trip to NYC. I wanted to wear them walking around all day but I just did not find them comfortable enough to do that. I did wear them on shorter outings but would have been hard pressed to choose them heading out first thing in the morning on an exploratory adventure of unknown milage and duration. I do have a slightly wider foot but have never had to get shoes in wide sizes. I agree with what others are saying about being aware these shoes are made for people with more narrow feet. I think the narrowness detracts from my comfort. I would like to see you take advantage of the thick sole. You have a lot of room in there to add padding. The appearance is definitely a 50/50 hybrid walking/dress shoe. The comfort should feel 50% more comfortable than a dress shoe. I think you're only at 15%.

not the best support overall for the feet, and it doesn't close properly strongly like a normal shoe. and even shoe is more to to lightweight side of their lineup, it's still too heavy for the feet, because of the Good Quality Rubber Sole.
maybe it worked for others, but not for me.

I'm always hesitant to buy shoes online (without trying them on, first). Decided to take a leap of faith based on other reviewers positive comments.

I can truly say the shoes I received are exactly as advertised for quality and comfort. For times when I need to stand or walk for long periods, they can't be beat!

Excellent quality and very pretty but tight for a wide feet unfortunately, the mesh sock on it makes my feet too squeezed. If there was a wide version of it I would aury try.
