The Chelsea

Purchased these boots for my son for Christmas. He tried them on and was amazed how comfortable and stylish they were. He can wear them with a suit, casual pants or jeans. They are very versatile! My son indicated he will be purchasing more Amberjack shoes soon!

The boots were very comfortable from the beginning. It did not require a “break-in” period like many others I’ve owned. They are also quite accurate in size. As reference, I buy size 9.5 from Allen Edmonds and Beckett Simonon, so I bought the same size here and they fit just as well.

Chelsea Boots: I originally got all black leather in my true size(which the website recommends), unfortunately, it wasn't a good fit, so I had go down 1/2 a size. In size 10, they fit perfect for me, look great and really elevate my outfit for business and smart casual for the office. Easy to put on and off, very lightweight and comfortable, which makes walking in them a breeze. The leather definitely doesn't say cheap, but if its "good" I am not qualified. Longevity? I don't know, but they have a 2-year warranty, so if they last that long I will be happy. Good pair of boots. I have the Obsidian and the Chestnut; both look great, and I'll probably get the coffee as well. Only complaint, is I wish they didn't have the tri-tone colors. I prefer a solid color and maybe a black sole.
Shipping: I did 2-day shipping, and it didn't ship out until next business day(24hrs?). So, the website said guaranteed delivery by Friday. I got them Monday. Unfortunately, I was going to wear these at a wedding that weekend, which I did not. Very well packaged.
Customer Service: Very responsive, sounds like they care. Only bad thing is I complained about the 2-day shipping and asked for them to expedite it if they could. They said that I 'had to place the order before 1pm EST for it to be there by Friday'. Which I did! I placed it at 9:45am EST. Other than that complaint, their customer service messaging was very quick and professional. I haven't returned the larger pair yet, but once I do, I will update this if the service is bad.

When I first saw Amberjack shoes they were marketing them heavily toward airline pilots. Well I know some pilots and they aren’t on their feet very long but, being in law enforcement, I am. So I gave them a try. They are more expensive than the dress shoes from the box stores I usually get but not by a lot. I figured if they are more comfortable then it’s worth it. So after a year let me say WOW. These have been the most comfortable pair of dress shoes I have ever owned. And after a year of daily use, they still look great. I got the black Chelsea boots and had to size up due to wearing wide sizes which are not available in the Chelsea. So if anyone were to ask I would say “absolutely if you’re in law enforcement and need to wear dress clothes then these are the shoes for you” highly recommend.
