Original Obsidian

I walk a lot for my job, and am required to wear a "dress" shoe. I thought I would give Amberjack a try. I am mostly happy with the shoe but here are my observations:

The shoe ran small, not in length but around my foot. I will say that I normally wear a wide size but th EE would be too wide. I sized up a half a size from normal.

The leather is comfortable.

I gave the factory insert a try but they do not provide the cushion nor support of my Fleet Feet inserts. In fact, I can feel the sole of the shoe through the factory insertion my toes and ball of foot when I walk.

My other work shoes (Rockport) have a padded ring around the ankle; not required but more comfortable.

The soles can be a bit slippery when wet; The Rockport sole has a bit more grip.

I really wanted to try a pair of the hybrid but it only came in buckskin when I ordered. I understand now it comes in leather with a black sole. I will be trying a pair soon as I would prefer a sole more like an athletic shoe.

Overall, I am happy with this shoe but hope Amberjack reads these comments for future versions.

Casual Fitting Dress Shoes

I was very pleased to receive my Amberjack Chestnut Dress Shoes on time and in excellent condition. This is my second pair. They are easy to slip on and fit well.

Very Comfy

This is my second pair, the shoes are very comfortable, stylish and excellent for travel.

Comfortable walking

Typically, I wear C width but I figured I give the original a try. When I use my orthotics this shoe is very comfortable. The shoe is very nice looking and not very heavy.
