The Original

I get quite a few compliments on how sharp they look. My only complaint is not wide enough even with a size 11 extra wide shoe. They do stretch a little and granted I have paddles for feet but wish you made wider shoes.

I like that the sizes are measured in cm!
You can measure your foot and get the right size.
But the US size is absolutely not typical for the corresponding foot length.
In all my shoes by all other brands I've ever had, I'm a size 8.5-9. (MP26.5-27)

But with the Amberjacks, I needed to order a size 10 for 27cm.
Since there's a postage blackade against the US, I had no chance to return it, and the size 10(27cm) turns out to be slightly too big for my foot (26.5cm or size 9.5 would've been a better fit)...

It's very wide and high in the front, letting my foot easily slide forward,unless I really tighten the laces.

The insole is incredibly comfortable and the shoe provides good support, albeit feeling a bit stiff with that thick heel. (I come from a Sneaker background, so that might be just me)
The sole feels very slippery to the touch, but does not slip once you're standing on it. Interesting design.

The leather colour is a perfect match with my belts, but all the different photographs made it incredibly difficult to judge the colour properly.

The leather is beautifully soft, but scratches very easily.
My son touched it just once with a fingernail and that scratch will remain.. yikes.

gonna try to find a solution to support the heel so I don't slip back and forth in the shoes, then I'll be happy. (if I was in the US, I would've exchanged for the 9.5, but that's not an option from Europe, and it wouldn't be affordable even without the postage block)

TLDR: the shoe is true to size (measured in cm and converted on the provided size chart here), but if you are between sizes - and don't have very large feet - I would get the smaller one.

I initially ordered the regular size dress shoe, but it was too narrow. I exchanged it without any hassle for the wide pair and they fit really comfortably. I am on my feet a lot throughout the day and these look stylish and are very comfortable.

These shoes are very comfortable! They are pretty much just as advertised. What impressed me most was the customer service. I had initially gotten half a size too small, but the rep was quick in responding, gave me assurance, and then helped the return process. Great shoe, amazing company

This was my first time trying out amberjack. Out of all the dress shoes I’ve worn in the past, these have been the most comfortable. As a pilot wearing them for long durations, I forget I'm wearing dress shoes. They also keep my feet cool. If you need dress shoes for any occasion, but especially if you wear them for long periods of time. Amberjack is worth the purchase at the rate they charge. The quality materials seem like they’ll last a very long time. The smell of the leather when they came in was amazing. I’m going to get the care kit, and another pair for different occasions soon.
