When I first tried the shoes on, their comfort factor exceeded my expectations. (I am a first time Amberjack buyer.) They are stylish and appear to be constructed well. The real test will come over time to see how they hold up after the usual wear and tear. My initial reaction, though, is two thumbs up! Thanks!
They are very comfortable, but not quite as comfortable as a running shoe. However, they are not any better than others when it comes to durability. As with any leather shoes they scuff and scratch, and after 6 months of wear 4 days a week, the laces are starting to fray and the leather is showing signs of wear. The rubber sole will clearly outlast the rest of the shoe.

Recently purchased my second pair for a weekend convention and they are just as great as the first pair. I was worried about a break in period which was completely unnecessary. Straight on feet from the box for 3 days and they still feel amazing. Run true to size and are extremely comfortable. Get rid of whatever doubts you have or any other dress shoes because once you go AmberJack you don’t go back.
The quality of the shoes is outstanding. I feel like they were made just for me! The most comfortable dress shie ive put in my feet and I've worn a lot of them! This was my first time stepping outside of my usual purchase and im so glad I gave AmberJack a shot! Highly recommend. I think I just found my new brand!
I’ve ordered many shoes online and frankly been disappointed with the quality of the product. They looked good, but poorly made and cheap. I knew from the second I took it out of the box that the Amberjacks we different. I love them. I love that I don’t have to have a white sole on my dress shoe. Best is that they have been great with my calf muscles that get tight in other shoes.
My only issue is that I thought I ordered a wide size but somehow ended up with the standard size. But Ithags a me problem.
