Our A-grade full grain leather comes from one of the best tanneries in the world, who also happen to be our business partner; that means you get incredible quality at a price you won’t find anywhere else. Designed in Brooklyn, NY and produced in one of Portugal's top factories, The Original is made with the highest quality materials, including Italian suede, perforated sheepskin lining, and a custom TPU outsole. Similarly made shoes cost 2-3x more.

Great shoes and great value

Really impressed with the quality of the shoes. The leather is thick but soft, the arch support and cushioning is outstanding, and the shoes feel solid (but not heavy) on your feet. No cut corners here.

Second pair and not the last

These shoes are comfortable and look great! These are my second pair of Amberjack’s that I’ve purchased.

As Advertised

I spent quite a lot of time researching and shopping for just the right shoe to wear for a very special occasion. I figured with the offer of free returns, I had nothing to lose by choosing Amberjack. I bought The Original in Honey color. I read multiple reviews that they run slightly larger than standard size, so I selected 9.5 because I normally wear size 10. Delivery was prompt. Immediately upon picking up the box, I had a sense of quality. I opened the box and found exactly what I ordered wrapped very nicely in thick protective paper. The care with which the shoes were packaged was obvious. Also nice to see the provided dust bag (a first for me personally). The shoes are flawless and I really like the color. I tried them on and walked around the house a bit to test the fit and comfort. As for the fit, I would say they are pretty close to a standard 10. The 9.5 fits me perfectly. Not too snug with room for my toes and my foot does not slide while walking. The shoes are noticeably comfortable and require no "break-in". I wore them to work today and they really are as advertised, stylish and very comfortable. I expect I will own these shoes for quite some time as I only wear dress shoes once in a while. Perhaps this is the best way to express my satisfaction... when the need arises for me to buy a different pair of dress shoes, I have no need to look any further than Amberjack. When a great product is paired with great customer service, what more could you ask for?

Early impressions

I've only worn the shoes once, so I'm waiting to see how they feel after being more broken in and how they hold up over time, however the first day was very positive. It felt like I was putting on good running shoes that were cleverly disguised to look like shoes that are dressy enough for work.
